It can always be a bit of a faff to find decent icons when you’re building something. Font Awesome is an obvious go-to resource for some icons, but sometimes they’re just not enough or they don’t have the right ones.

Well, I found FlatIcon the other day. I was drawing a diagram (just for sharing amongst friends) and it had some great vectors that I could pick up and use. The site allows you to download as SVG, PNG or even base64 encoded and allows changes to the base colour before download.

Best of all is that the icons often come in packs and are well labelled to their license. Generally, you can use the icons for free if you attribute. Having attribution is quite viable in many webapps but the cost to remove that constraint is only $9.99 a month which also gives access to the premium icons and allows use in macOS apps; seems pretty good value for a web shop.
